Christy's Mom's Peach Cobbler Recipe

I like this one, because the version I make uses a commercial cake mix. I'm sure this version is healthier!

4-6 small to medium fresh peaches
1 stick of butter (melted)
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of self rising flour
1 cup of milk
(1) Melt butter in 3-4 quart pyrex dish in microwave (I melted it in a small pan on the stove then put it in a baking dish that was not pyrex so either way is ok)
(2) In bowl, mix flour and sugar together--add milk and mix or stir until blended.
(3) Pour flour mixture into pyrex dish with butter DO NOT MIX THEM TOGETHER( make sure melted butter is already in the dish)
(4) Pour freshly sliced peaches into dish over flour mixture DO NOT MIX THEM TOGETHER ( sometimes I will sprinkle a very small amount of sugar on top of the mixture--less than a 1/4 teaspoon if I want it a little sweeter)
(5) Bake at 375 degrees until brown on top.  Done in about 30-40 minutes.
